On May 1, the Lomira boys and girls track teams traveled to Mayville for the second time in three days for the Marshland Invitational. The girls' team finished in fourth place with 103 points, and the boys' team finished in sixth place with 60 points at the Invite. Individual first-place finishes by Carlie Priesgen in the shot put and Whitney Witkowski in the 3200m, including second-place finishes by Priesgen in the discus, Chloe Reklau in the long jump, and Violete Riley in the 300m hurdles, led the Lions’ girls team on a cool and mist-filled spring meet day
On April 30, Lomira beat Springs 10-4 to split the season series after the game was moved up a day due to the upcoming rain in the forecast for Thursday. Lomira (9-6, 5-3) scored three runs in the first inning to take a 3-0 lead over Springs (4-6, 3-5) thanks to RBI singles from Easton Zangl, Jack Luedtke, and Weston Poth.
On May 5, Lomira softball beat NFDL 17-1 in four innings by scoring 15+ runs in a game for the fourth time during the season. Lomira (12-3, 7-2) got three runs in the first inning from their offense highlighted by a Taylor Bloohm RBI single to take a 3-0 lead over NFDL (3-7, 3-6). NFDL scored their only run of the game in the second inning before Izzy Westphal ripped a RBI double to center to start the scoring, and the inning was capped off by a Bloohm RBI single to increase the Lions' lead to 6-1.
