Posted

On May 24, 2025, ten of our Mayville Middle School athletes proudly represented our school at the Wisconsin Middle School State Track and Field Meet, an incredible accomplishment that reflects their dedication and hard work all season long.

Xolan Finch earned 10th place in the shot put, and Xavier Canady jumped to a ninth-place finish in the high jump. Arabella Hardee also took home ninth in the 100m hurdles, while Tiana Canady threw her way to 15th in shot put.

Our 4x100m relay team with Kenzie Thrun, Morgan Andresen, Neva Mittelstadt, Laila Dobberphul, and Ivory Schraufnagel set a new Mayville Middle School record with a time of 55.60 seconds, finishing 20th out of 46 teams. Neva also had a big day individually, placing eighth in the high jump and 11th in the 100m hurdles.

Aubree Koput had a phenomenal meet, running personal bests in every event. She brought home two state medals, finishing sixth in the 200m dash and fourth in the 400m dash, along with a ninth-place finish in the high jump.

“I’m incredibly proud of every athlete who competed. Qualifying for the state meet is a huge achievement, and each of these athletes gave it their all. Congratulations on a fantastic season!” Mayville Middle School track and field head coach, Erica Beal, said.
