The Mayville Rotary celebrated the 10th annual Rock River Bierfest on Saturday, Jan. 25, at the Mayville Pavilion.
As Rotary’s largest fundraiser, Bierfest supports a variety of impactful community projects, including the kayak launch and storage shed, pickleball courts and benches, the Main Street music stage, and the new ice rink near the Malthouse grounds. Thanks to the support of attendees and sponsors, Rotary continues its mission to enhance the Mayville community.
The event featured 18 breweries, with seven brewers from all over the state and two wineries, one being a local Dodge County winery, Edwin Brix, on hand to share their expertise and connect with Bierfest guests. The winner of the 2025 “Best of Bierfest” glass two-liter boot award went to Torzala Brewing located in Milwaukee’s Southside. Torzala, a self-proclaimed “women owned, minority owned, family run, nanobrewery” was a first-time attendee at the Rock River Bierfest.
The Marsh Inn, Don Ramon, New China, The Meating Place and Cardinal Lanes were just a few of the local eateries that contributed an array of delicious food, adding to the festive atmosphere.
Adding a lively touch to the evening, Mayville native and longtime Bierfest supporter Mark Wayne captivated the crowd with his one-man band performance, delivering memorable renditions of classics like “Tiny Bubbles” and “Sweet Caroline.”
The evening was a resounding success, highlighting the best of Mayville’s community spirit and dedication to local growth.
