Posted

Sharon Kay Telander Reetz, born August 26, 1953, to Wyman and Anna Telander in Mora, MN, passed away peacefully in her Scottsdale, AZ, home on December 18, 2025.
Sharon grew up in Mora and graduated from Mora High School in 1971. After graduation, she moved to Wisconsin, where she worked in various medical positions in Janesville, Madison, Horicon, and Beaver Dam.
On September 24, 1988, she married the love of her life, Darryl Reetz. Together they welcomed their daughter, Mariah, on February 10, 1991. It was during this time that she began to provide accounting services for the family business, D.B. Reetz, Inc. (in addition to her work outside of the home) until her retirement.
Sharon greatly cherished family vacations and outings, her love for racquetball, and found joy in time spent with those she loved most. She had a remarkable gift for forming deep and lasting friendships everywhere she went and treasured the many close friends she made throughout her life.
In 2019, Sharon and Darryl purchased a property in Scottsdale, AZ, where Sharon envisioned her dream retirement. That dream became a reality when they moved there permanently in 2024. Scottsdale truly became her happy place.
Sharon was a loving, caring, and giving wife, mother, and friend to all who knew her. She will be deeply missed by many, but her family finds comfort knowing they will see her again and that she is now in her heavenly home with Jesus.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Wyman and Anna Telander, as well as her in-laws, Arland and Bonnie Reetz.
She is survived by her loving husband, Darryl Reetz; her daughter, Mariah (fiancĂ© Herman and their beloved dog, Murphy, whom Sharon adored); and her siblings, Joann (Einar) Ahola, Paul (Colleen) Telander, Julie (Bill) Olen, Terry Telander, Lisa (Kevin) Lukis; and siblings-in-law, Darlynn (Chris) Katke, Bruce (Therese) Reetz, and Brian (Judith) Reetz. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
