Lomira Wrestling has Four Individual Flyway Conference Champions

Lomira’s Aeryona Cronin was the conference champion in the 185 weight class for the Lions.
At Mayville
On February 8, Lomira wrestling finished in second place with 194.5 pts at the Flyway Conference Tournament hosted by Mayville High School.

The Lions had three individual conference champions with Jordan Lisiecki at the 113 weight class, Marshall Hanke at the 138 weight class, and Marek Lisiecki at the 150 weight class at the conference tournament.
“Some of the notable results of the day were Jordan, Marek, and Marshall dominating their competition, including Cyle Zinner taking third as a sixth seed,” said Head Coach Adam Kinyon. “Chloe Loughrin wrested in the 106 weight class with a huge pin in the fifth place match to finish fifth, and she scored us seven team points by agreeing to wrestle with boys on Saturday instead of wrestling at the Flyway Girls Conference tournament on Friday night. Without her point, we don’t finish as co-champions of the conference.”
“We came to life in the final round during the first and third place matches by winning six of our nine matches in the round to take second place in the tournament by four points,” said Kinyon. “There are some good things we can take away from this tournament that will help us in the next few weeks.”
Lomira wrestling travels to Cedar Grove-Belguim for Regionals in Division 3 on February 15.
