Incumbents Sweep Mayville Spring Election

Familiar faces retained their seats in the Mayville April 7 spring elections, as incumbents swept local races.
Mayor Rob Boelk won another term in an uncontested race.
“I also wanted to sincerely thank the residents of Mayville for electing me for a fifth term as your mayor. This milestone makes me the longest-serving mayor of Mayville since 1956,” Boelk said.
On the Mayville Common Council, incumbents held their ground in both contested districts. Bob Smith ran unopposed to retain his Ward 2 seat, while Kim M. Olson was re-elected to represent Ward 6.
Three incumbents also kept their seats on the Mayville School District board. Tatiana Shirasaki and Melissa S. Worthington were re-elected, representing Zone 4, which covers the City of Mayville. Randy Clark successfully defended his Zone 2 seat, representing the eastern portion of the district.
