Horicon Announces a New Director of Finance/Treasurer

The Horicon Common Council, on September 23, 2025, unanimously approved the mayoral appointment of Chrissy Wild as the City’s new Director of Finance/Treasurer with a start date of October 1, 2025. Chrissy Wild brings over five years of expertise in corporate and healthcare finance. She has extensive experience in financial reporting, budgeting, and audit oversight, and has led successful initiatives that delivered measurable cost savings and streamlined financial processes. Chrissy has played a key role in supporting clean audits year after year, while improving efficiency across financial systems.
A graduate of the University of Wisconsin–Whitewater, Chrissy is known for her leadership, accuracy, and commitment to excellence in financial management. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, staying active through workouts, and traveling to warm destinations.
