Barbara Ann Moldenhauer

   Barbara Ann Moldenhauer, 72, of Mayville, passed away peacefully on Friday, April 24, 2026, at Angel’s Grace Hospice in Oconomowoc.
  A private family inurnment will take place at St. Matthew’s Cemetery in Iron Ridge with Rev. William Carter officiating.
Barbara was born on July 3, 1953, to Norman and Eunice (Butz) Koch in Beaver Dam.
   She was united in marriage to Dennis Moldenhauer on November 4, 1978, at St. Matthew’s Ev. Lutheran Church in Iron Ridge.
   Barbara was a faithful member of St. Peter’s Lutheran Church in Kekoskee.
   Barbara dedicated her life to caring for others. She was a natural caregiver and worked for many years as a CNA at Clearview Nursing Home in Juneau. Barbara also took care of her family and always made sure they were looked after. She loved creating memories with her family, especially her grandchildren.
   Barbara attended local musicals and plays and enjoyed going out for lunch and traveling with her friends. She was fond of socializing with others at the Mayville Senior Center and also getting caught up in a good book.
   Barbara is survived by her children, Nathan (Renee) Moldenhauer of Sussex, Brendan (Erin) Moldenhauer of Ripon, and Kristin (Peter) Plashko of Bushwood, MD; her four grandchildren, Jasmine, Adeline, Peter Jr., and Theodore. She is further survived by nieces and nephews, Laura, Shawn, Jennifer, Rebecca, and Derrick.
   Barbara was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Dennis, in 2024; three brothers, John, Wayne, and David; and one sister, Karin Breuer.
