Since joining the publication as your assistant editor in late September 2025, I have spent the last few months listening to your stories and learning the rhythm of the communities we serve. As I officially step into the role of editor, I wanted to take a moment to introduce myself.
With more than 12 years of experience in the media and news industry, I understand that a local newspaper is more than just a collection of headlines; it is a record of our shared history. My background has taught me that while the “big” stories matter, the heart of our community is found in the smaller, personal moments. I want to highlight the people, businesses, and local traditions that make our corner of Wisconsin unique.
When I am not at my desk, I prefer to be outdoors. I am a hiker, and you will frequently find me exploring area trails with my dogs.
