Robert Merlin Villwock, 76, of Mayville, passed away at Avina of Fond du Lac on Sunday, Nov. 2, 2025.
A memorial service was held on Wednesday, Nov. 12, 2025, at 1 p.m. at the Koepsell Funeral Home in Mayville with Rev. Fr. Mark Brandl presiding. A visitation for Robert was held at the funeral home in Mayville on Wednesday, Nov. 12, from 11 a.m. until the time of service at 1 p.m. Following the service, military honors were conducted by the Mayville American Legion Post #69. Inurnment took place at St. Mary’s Cemetery in Mayville.
Robert was born the son of Victor and Dolores (Schraufnagel) Villwock on April 8, 1949, in Fond du Lac.
He served his country in the United States Air Force during Vietnam.
He was a member of St. Andrew’s Catholic Church in LeRoy. Robert found great joy in being outdoors. He was an avid hunter and skilled trapshooter.
Robert is survived by his daughter, Becky (Chris) Remington of Appleton; seven grandchildren; and his brothers, James (Holly) Villwock of Neosho and Michael Villwock of Horicon. Robert is further survived by other relatives and friends.
Robert was preceded in death by his parents; his son, Brian Villwock; and his sister, Mary Sue Villwock.
