Patricia Jo Schraufnagel, 71, of Sevierville, TN, passed away September 1, 2025, after a lengthy illness.
Patti was the daughter of Reinhardt and JoAn Wolter. Patti graduated from St. Mary Catholic School of Mayville, Mayville High School, and Moraine Park Technical College.
She then worked as an LPN at St. Joseph's Hospital in Beaver Dam in the emergency department. Patti also worked a a medical clinic in Princeville, IL, before moving to Tennessee. Patti retired from the Sevierville County School District, where she worked as an accountant.
Patti married Neil Richard Schrafnagel at St. Mary of Good Counsel in Mayville. Together they raised three children, Christina Miller, Joshua (Becca) Schraufnagel, and Brett Schraufnagel. She was blessed with three grandchildren, Hannah, Brody, and Alexis, all of Sevierville, TN, who survive her.
Patti is survived by her mother, JoAn Wolter of Lomira; her siblings, Daniel (Debra) Wolter of Rhinelander, Monica (Michael) Brummond of Mayville, Kathleen (Jacob) Batzler of Ashford, Collette (Larry) Villwock of Mayville, her sister-in-law, Sonia (Kevin) Pelot of Fond du Lac, and Scott Schraufnagel of Mavyille. She is also survived by her maternal uncle, Carl (Anne) Firehammer of Beaver Dam; paternal aunt, Sharon (Stanley) Wolter of Mayville; and numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Patti was preceded in death by her father, Reiny Wolter; brother, Brian Wolter; her paternal grandparents, Reinhardt and Julia (Wasko) Wolter; and maternal grandparents, Carol and Nona (Doyle) Firehammer; and in-law, Richard and Marcella (Fischer) Schraufnagel.
Cremation took place. A memorial service was held at the Atchley Funeral Home in Sevierville, TN.
