Pardeeville Dominates Horicon in Monday Night Matchup

The Horicon girls’ basketball team (2-2) suffered a significant defeat on Monday, December 1, falling to the undefeated Pardeeville (2-0) squad with a final score of 79-38.
Despite the lopsided score, the Horicon team showed flashes of defensive intensity early in the contest. With Pardeeville leading 13-9 at the 12:37 mark in the first half, Sarah Hodgson recorded a crucial block. Azelyn Heller followed moments later with a steal, and Grace Thornton contributed another steal when the score was 23-11 with 9:37 remaining. Hodgson quickly secured another steal, highlighting the team’s effort to disrupt the Pardeeville offense.
Azelyn Heller provided a much-needed boost to the offense, sinking a three-pointer with just over three minutes left in the first half. She continued her shooting streak early in the second half, connecting on another three-point shot.
This week, the Marshladies played Lourdes Academy on Monday, December 8. Then they host Dodgeland on Friday, December 12 at 7:15 p.m.
