Mayville Sets Public Hearing for Next Month

On Monday, June 9, at the City of Mayville Common Council meeting, an item on a disater designation area, policies for reimbursement, and application process, as it pertains to the Mayville Disaster Relief Fund was discussed.
Mayor Rob Boelk reported, at the time, that around $16,000 had been collected to be distributed among the residents affected by last month’s tornados.
The Council approved a motion to hold a public hearing on the matter next month, in order to set the criteria for who will be eligible to receive a portion of the fund.
