Margaret A. Kehl, of North Fond du Lac, passed away on Thursday, Aug. 14, 2025, at the age of 88.
She was born on January 21, 1937, in Fond du Lac, to Ralph & Helene (Menne) Capello.
She married the love of her life, James Kehl Sr., on June 23, 1973. He preceded her in death on June 20, 1998.
Margaret “Marge” loved working with crafts, reading romance novels, and music. She enjoyed spending time with her family.
Marge is survived by daughters, Karen (Schiller) Bodden and Dawn (Steven) Scharf. She is also survived by seven grandchildren, Jennifer (Ben) Priesgen, Anthony (Megan) Bodden, Stacy (Chris) Grace, Kristin (Matt) Mose, Joshua (Jennifer) Scharf, Charis Scharf, Bethany (Tim) Anderson; and great-grandchildren, Carlie, Gabe and Margaret Priesgen, Will Bodden, Evelyn and Oliver Grace, Lilah Mose, Autumn, Noelle and Ivy Scharf, and Judah Anderson. She is further survived by a sister, Delores Bates and sister-in-law, Virginia Capello; nieces and nephews, step-children, James Kehl Jr., Patricia Kehl, Paul Kehl, and Dennis Kehl, and five step-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Francis and Ralph Capello; sisters Pearl Capello, Gertrude Olsen, and Shirley Kunders; brothers-in-law, Harold Bates, Vern Olsen and Ron Kunders; sister-in-law, Frances Capello; and close family friend, Beverly Beavers.
She was further preceded by three nephews, one niece, two great-grandchildren and one step-grandson, Tyler Kehl.
A private memorial service for Marge is being planned.
The family wishes to thank her neighbors, Dennis and Leona, for their assistance to Marge when she was still in her home, along with SSM Hospice for their care and assistance.
