Lomira’s Robinson Wins His 500th Meet as Lions’ Assistant

On December 6, the Lomira boys’ wrestling team finished fourth in their home meet with Arrowhead, Mount Herob, and Appleton West.
Sophomore Jordan Lisiecki finished 3-0 on the day with two pins to lead the Lions on the day.
“Lomira wrestling starts the season with high-level competition to get a measure of where we are in comparison to some high-level schools,” said Head Coach Jamie Feucht. “The team battled hard and took away some great experience.”
At WLA
On December 4, the Lomira boys’ wrestling team beat Winnebago Lutheran Academy 41-40 by the sixth criteria tiebreaker in the conference opener on the road

“Cleary, Kolton, Jayden, and Jordan came in with needed pins. Jordan’s pin at the end put the team into the tie and had the crowd charged up,” said Head Coach Jamie Feucht. “George...wrestled a tactical match to secure the win.”
“Ashley started the night with a dominant performance with her win,” said Feucht.
Coach Dan Robinson earned his 500th career dual meet win as an assistant coach at Lomira, and he will be inducted into Mauston’s wrestling hall of fame during the upcoming week.
“Dan’s ability to help guide students in finding their love for the sport of wrestling is a key to Lomira’s wrestling culture,” said Feucht. Lomira boys wrestling will travel to St. Lawrence on December 11 at 7 p.m. and to Wisconsin Dells on December 13 at 9 a.m. The Lomira girls’ wrestling team will travel to the Dells on December 12 at 4 p.m.
