Lomira’s Dylan Immel Pitching for Dock Spiders

Posted

Lomira’s Dylan Immel is pitching in the Northwoods League for the Fond du Lac Dock Spiders during the 2025 summer season.
Immel’s baseball journey after being a Flyway Conference Player of the Year during his senior year at Lomira has taken him to Century College, a Junior College in Minnesota, for two years, and then for the past two years playing at Division 2 Sioux Falls in South Dakota.
“My favorite baseball moment was getting my strikeout because it gave me a great sense of calm and getting it off my shoulders,” said Dylan Immel.
“Baseball is huge for my family, and the Chicago White Sox were scouting my dad (Kenny) out of high school before he got hurt; that is why baseball is important to me,” said Immel. “The biggest influence on me was my dad, who taught me everything about the game, and it is important to me to keep it in the family.”

“I am currently in the transfer portal with one more year of Division One eligibility, and my future goal after playing this summer for the Dock Spiders is to find a Division One college to help them and compete for that team,” said Immel.
“Dylan has continued to work at his craft and has become a dominating pitcher at the next level after being the Player of the Year in 2021. He kept things loose by being one of the funniest players on the baseball team, but when he’s on the mound, he is a true competitor,” said Lomira Coach Tom Cole.
