On April 5, Lomira track had five athletes (Dawson Doyle, Josh Polster, Carlie Priesgen, Chloe Reklau, and Austin Zinn) qualify for the State Indoor Track & Field Championships at UW-Whitewater.
Lomira was led by Polster and Priesgen with both athletes getting a PR in their individual shot put competition at the state meet.
Priesgen was able to finish 16th in the girls’ shot put competition, which included throwers from Division 1, 2, and 3 schools throughout the state.
At UW-Oshkosh
On April 1, the Lomira girls’ track team finished in 20th place with eight points at the UW-Oshkosh Division 2 Invitational.
The Lions were led by Carlie Priesgen’s third place finish resulting in six team points in the shot put.
Lomira track travels to Fall River on April 10 at 4 p.m. to start their outdoor season.
