Lomira Track Earns Medals at UW-Oshkosh

On April 4, the Lomira track team sent Whitney Witkowski to compete in the 1600m at the Indoor State Championships at UW-Whitewater.
Witkowski finished 52nd in the 1600m with a time of 5:46, representing the Lomira Lions at the Indoor State track meet.
At UW-Oshkosh
On April 1, the Lomira boys’ track team competed at the UW-Oshkosh small-school invitational for Division 2 and 3 schools, scoring 25 team points.

Lomira was led by Alex Potter’s second-place finish in the 200m and Jayvain Bentley’s third-place finish in the 60m in the Division Three competition.
On March 31. The Lomira girls’ track team competed at the UW-Oshkosh small school invitational for Division 2 and 3 schools, where the team scored 14 team points.
A third-place finish led the Lions by Whitney Witkowski in the 1600m in Division three, where she qualified for the State Indoor Track meet at UW-Whitewater on April 4.
Hanna Faber placed in fifth place in the pole vault, and the 4x400 relay team of Witkowski, Faber, Oelysea Olig, and Eva Young finished in fifth place to medal for Lomira at the Invitational.
Lomira track teams will be hosting their annual track meet on April 21 at 4 p.m.
