Lomira Track Building Momentum

On April 30, the Lomira girls track team finished in fourth place with 80 points, and the Lomira boys track team finished in fourth place with 88 points at the Marshland Invitational at Mayville.
Hanna Faber led the way with a first-place finish in Pole Vault, plus second-place finishes by Faber in the 800m and Whitney Witkowski in 1600m for Lomira.
The boys’ team was paced by first-place finishes by Alex Potter in the 200m and Cole Geiger in the discus at the Invite for the Lions.
At Campbellsport
On April 28, the Lomira girls track team finished in third place with 71 points, and the Lomira boys track team finished in fifth place with 49 points at the Campbellsport Quad.

Whitney Witkowski’s first-place finishes led the Lomira girls team in the 1600m and 3200m, plus Hanna Faber winning the Pole Vault at the Quad.
The boys’ team was led by second-place finishes by Cole Geiger in the Shot Put and Discus for the Lions.
Lomira track competed at Omro on May 5 after print time. The Lions will travel to Waupun on May 8 at 4 p.m.
