On March 20, the Lomira boys’ track team competed in the UW-Oshkosh Boys Division 2 Track Invitational to start their season.
On March 22, Lomira boys’ and girls’ track teams traveled to UW-Platteville to continue their indoor season.
The Lomira girls’ track team finished in ninth place with 23 points, with Carlie Priesgen leading the way with a second-place finish in the shot put to qualify for indoor state.
The Lomira boys’ track team finished in ninth place with 24 points and was led by Austin Zinn winning the high jump to qualify for indoor state.
Lomira track will be traveling back to UW-Oshkosh when the girls’ team competes there on April 1 at 4:45 p.m. The Lions will be sending athletes to the State Indoor Track & Field Competition on April 5 at UW-Whitewater.
