Lomira Hosts Second Annual Creativity Conference

On March 19, Lomira Fine Art programs hosted their K-8 Creativity Conference for the second straight year.
The creativity conference is an event where teachers encourage students’ creativity and give them an opportunity to display their talents to the community.
The Lomira High School Commons was filled with tri-fold displays on tables from students showcasing their talents, interests, and hobbies, and they gave presentations to anyone who wanted to learn more about their projects.
There was an art painting station for everyone to show off their hidden art talents, plus there was face painting for the kids to enjoy.

Everyone was treated to performances in the Elementary Gym by the second-grade students from LES/TLC and the middle school jazz band.
The Lomira PTC had a basket raffle fundraiser for the K-8 library.
The event was hosted by Ronna Mannien, K-5 Art Teacher; Kayla Koepp, MS/HS Art Teacher; Jenny Priesgen, K-5 Music Teacher; Lucas Reisdorf, MS/HS Band Teacher; Dayna Hubbart, MS/HS Band; and Anne Helmbrecht, MS/HS Chorus.
