WIAA Golf Oakfield Regional at Rolling Meadows Golf Course
Team Result: 2. Lomira 337 (Advance to Sectionals)
Individual Results: 1. Alex Luedtke 72 (Regional Champion) 12. Alex Zahn 88. 12. Hunter Duley 88. 15. Chase Lund 88. 18. Aidan Campbell 89

Leading the way for Lomira was senior standout Alex Luedtke, who turned in an even-par 72 to claim individual medalist honors.
“Alex’s round was one of the best performances of the day and helped pace the Lions to their postseason success,” said Head Coach Tyler Witkowski.
The Lions’ depth proved critical as all five golfers finished within 19 strokes of par, allowing Lomira to separate itself from the rest of the sectional field, with their 337 team total was 21 strokes clear of third-place Markesan.
“Behind Alex’s medalist performance and a consistent team effort, Lomira continues what has been an impressive season,” said Witkowski. “The Lions have relied on veteran leadership and steady contributions throughout the lineup, and those strengths were once again on display at Rolling Meadows.”
The Lomira golf team competed at the WIAA Division 3 Golf Sectional at Blackwolf Run in Kohler on June 2 after print time.
