Saves: Macie Laubenstein 12
WLA scored two goals in the first half on their way to a 6-0 conference win on the road over the Lions.
“We faced one of the most complete teams in the flyway conference,” said Head Coach Josh Haefs. “The girls put in a lot of effort tonight, and a game like this will really accelerate their development, and we took to play up to the same level as the top teams in conference.”
“Freshman goalkeeper Macie Laubenstein was outstanding in goal and is really making that position her own,” said Haefs.
Lomira girls soccer hosted NFDL on April 21 after print time. The Lions will travel to Lourdes on April 27 at 7 pm.
