On March 12, Lomira FFA hosted Leadership Development events for District 28, which consists of Beaver Dam, Campbellsport, Dodgeland, Hartford, Horicon, Hustisford, Kewaskum, Lomira, Mayville, and Slinger FFA chapters.
“Lomira FFA members had a fabulous night competing in the Leadership Development events,” said Lomira FFA advisor Paige Petersen.
First Place and Sectional Qualifiers:
• Eleanor Rhodes in discussion meet and extemporaneous speaking
• Lillian Christian in creed speaking
• Cameron Ryan in prepared public speaking
Second Place and Sectional Qualifier:
• Brock Breitlow in prepared public speaking
Third Place:
• Brock Breiltow in discussion meet
• Cash Agamaite in creed speaking
• Dylan Ryan in employability skills
“Lomira had the honor of hosting this event this year,” said Petersen. “Thank you to all helpers and judges who helped make this event possible.”
Lomira FFA will travel to Section 10 at East Troy High School on April 2 for Sectionals.
