Lana K. Louden, 77, of Iron Ridge, passed away Tuesday, August 5, 2025. Lana was born the daughter of Reuben and Caroline (Garski) Bergauer in Beaver Dam on October 19.
Lana was united in marriage to Howard Louden Jr. on May 27, 1967.
She spent many years as a homemaker and an Advertising Specialist for the Dodge County Pionier. Lana enjoyed cooking, gardening, birdwatching, decorating for the holidays and spending time with her grandchildren. She deeply missed the companionship of her late dog, Benji.
Lana is survived by her husband of 58 years, Howard; her children, Michelle (Steven) Wanie of Horicon, Michael (Miyuki) Louden of Sun Prairie and Mark (Andrea) Louden of Gilbert, AZ; grandchildren, Clayton Wanie of Bozeman, MT, Alexa Wanie (Aaron Bischoff) of Horicon, Brayden and Jack Louden of Gilbert, AZ; her sister, Sandra Stanfield of Beaver Dam; further survived by other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Special thanks to the ICU staff at St. Mary’s in Madison. A private memorial will be held by family.
