Horicon Wrestling are Trailways South Conference Dual Champions

On Saturday, Feb. 7, Horicon Wrestling traveled to Pardeeville for the Trailways Conference Tournament. The boys and girls battled all day long.
The Marshmen were led by senior Ethan Strieff, who took home the gold in dramatic fashion at 190. Other notable finishers were Nathyn Erz, fourth at 132, and Kayden Phillips, fourth at 157.
The Marshladies wrestled hard throughout the tournament, being led by senior Hailey Firari, who dominated on her way to gold at 138. Other notable finishers were Keleigh Holl, second at 107; LuRae Wenninger, second at 114; and Khloe Lindert, third at 126.
Horicon also received their trophy for being Trailways South Conference Dual Champions.
Horicon is back in action this weekend with Marshladies wrestling at home on Friday, Feb. 13, for Regionals, and the Marshmen wrestle on Saturday, Feb. 14, in Cedar Grove-Belgium for Sectionals.
