Horicon Phoenix Program Receives Wisconsin Arts Board Grant to Launch Countywide Butterfly Art Project

Posted

Horicon Phoenix Program is proud to announce that we have been awarded a grant from the Wisconsin Arts Board, marking an exciting step forward for a new countywide public art initiative.
We extend our sincere gratitude to Governor Tony Evers, Representative William Penterman, and State Senator John Jagler for their ongoing support of the arts and for helping make this project possible.
In 2026, residents and visitors alike will see giant butterfly installations displayed throughout Dodge County, celebrating creativity, community, and the natural beauty of our region. These vibrant works of art will engage local artists, inspire youth, and foster community pride across our towns and cities while generating visitors to local businesses.
Stay tuned for an upcoming Call for Artists and Call for Sponsors as we work to bring this vision to life. Community involvement will be at the heart of this project, and we look forward to partnering with creators, businesses, and residents across Dodge County.
