Twice in the same week, Horicon boys basketball defeated Central Wisconsin Christian (CWC) (6-10, 4-5), on their court on Tuesday, Feb. 4 and at home on Saturday, Feb. 8. In between, they also beat Valley Christian (3-14, 0-10) at home on Friday, Feb. 7.
On Tuesday, the game at CWC was all tied up at 32 at halftime, but Horicon came out on top with just an eight-point difference in their win, 68-60.
On Friday, Horicon turned it up a notch to defeat Valley Christian 80-54 at home. The Marshmen were up by ten at halftime, 41-31. Leading scorers were Barrett Meyer with 23 points, Quinten Brown with 16, and Jay Graven with 12.
Finally, on Saturday, Horicon did it again and won 69-53 at home over CWC.
On Tuesday, Feb. 11, the Marshmen played Pardeeville, who are undefeated in the Trailways-West, at home. They will be home again on Thursday, Feb. 13 playing Oakfield, who is first in the conference with a 9-1 record, at 7:15 p.m.
