Four members of the Mayville Cardinals softball team were recognized by Flyway Conference coaches with Honorable Mention All-Conference selections following the 2026 season.
Receiving Honorable Mention honors for Mayville were Lilian Mansueto, Pearl Witek, Janel Youngbeck, and Megan Promersberger.
The quartet played key roles for a young Cardinals squad that featured numerous freshmen and sophomores throughout a rebuilding season. Youngbeck contributed both in the circle and at the plate, while Witek provided leadership behind the plate and consistent offense. Mansueto emerged as one of the team's top hitters and defensive contributors, and Promersberger filled multiple roles while helping anchor the Cardinals' infield.
The recognition highlights the growth and potential of a Mayville program that showed steady improvement throughout the season and finished the year with several strong performances as its young core gained valuable varsity experience.
