On Thursday, Jan. 15, Horicon hosted Hustisford and Deerfield for senior night.
First, Horicon wrestled Hustisford, where the Marshmen handled the Falcons 40-5.
Next, Horicon battled Deerfield, falling just short 21-39.
It was also an exciting night as we got to help the school induct former wrestling coach Randy Goddard into the Horicon High School Athletic Hall of Fame.
On Saturday, Jan. 17, the Horicon girls traveled to Janesville Craig. The Marshladies were a little short-handed, only having three girls wrestle. However, they all made it count when they stepped onto the mat. All three girls made the finals: sophomore LuRae Wenninger at 114, sophomore Khloe Lindert at 126 and senior Hailey Firari at 138. All three fell just short, finishing second at their respective weight classes.
