Christine Schmitz, Executive Director of The Horicon Phoenix Program, proudly announces the upcoming Fire and Ice Concert featuring the Joseph Huber Band. The performance will take place on March 7 at 7 p.m. in the Beaver Dam Area Community Theatre’s state-of-the-art Kamps Auditorium.
Hailing from Wisconsin, Joe and his band uniquely blend blues, bluegrass, folk, and Americana, creating a sound that is distinctly their own. Schmitz expressed, “You don’t just listen to Joseph Huber’s music. You’ll feel it. Huber’s music stirs something deep in your soul, something you need to hear.” Their latest album, “The Downtowners,” shifts between social and personal themes, weaving elements of rock and folk music that fans will warmly embrace.
Whether it’s lively, fiddle-driven dance tunes or honest, heartfelt songwriter pieces, The Joseph Huber Band is sure to captivate. In addition to Joseph Huber, the band features Beaver Dam native and fiddle virtuoso Kenny Leiser. As a bonus, Beaver Dam’s own Sundowners will be opening for the band.
The concert begins at 7 p.m., with doors opening at 6:30 p.m. Tickets can be purchased online at www.bdact.org, at the Box Office on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., or by calling 920-885-6891.
