Posted

Dodge County officials have certified the results of the 2026 Spring Election, with a total of 22,415 ballots cast across the county.
Several Dodge County Board seats were contested, with incumbents winning in some districts and challengers flipping others.
In District 10, incumbent Daniel L. Siegmann was re-elected with 545 votes (58.86%), defeating Jeffrey M. Neu, who received 380 votes (41.04%).
In District 11, challenger Nick Christian unseated incumbent David Guckenberger, securing the seat with 468 votes (55.85%) to Guckenberger’s 366 votes (43.68%).
District 14 produced one of the closer contests of the night, with Christine A. Churchill narrowly defeating Stephanie Justmann, 253 votes (51.53%) to 236 votes (48.07%). Churchill will fill the seat vacated by Mayville Mayor Rob Boelk, who did not seek re-election.

In District 31, incumbent Kevin Burnett retained his seat with 283 votes (51.18%), edging Steve Rydzewski, who received 265 votes (47.92%).
Districts 16, 32, and 33 had no listed candidates on the ballot. Those races were decided by write-in votes, which were tabulated and certified by the Dodge County Clerk’s Office following the close of polls. Robert Ballweg won District 32, with 128 write-in votes cast for the open seat. Jeff Bierman won District 33, with 54 write-in votes. The winner of District 16 is still pending.
Voters also weighed in on a number of local municipal contests, school board races, and referendum questions across the county.
Dodge County Clerk Danielle Van Egtern emphasized the importance of participating in spring elections.
“This election is a reminder that every vote matters, regardless of the time of year,” Van Egtern said. “Spring elections often see lower turnout, but they include important local decisions that directly impact our communities. We encourage all eligible voters to stay engaged and make their voices heard in every election.”
