Back-to-Back Champs: Horicon Boys Baseball Repeats as Conference Winners, Eyes Postseason Run

The Horicon High School varsity boys baseball team clinched its second consecutive conference championship, finishing the regular season with a 10-1 conference record and a 14-4 overall mark with one league game remaining.
The Marshmen, led by coach Ben Strieff, secured the title ahead of postseason play, which begins next Thursday.
“Winning a baseball game is extremely difficult; winning a conference championship is even harder. To win back-to-back conference championships, these young men had to continually work hard and take no shortcuts,” said Strieff in an interview with the Pionier.“They all know what I mean when I say, ‘again, again!’ It has been an honor to be surrounded by these great young players. We are still hungry for more.”
