MITCHELL BRADLEY KELLER The last time the Horicon Marshmen cross country team ran within Horicon’s city limits (for the Dodge County Invite on Sept. 3), they made the short trek back to their respective homes as champions.The same was true, again, following the conclusion of the Sept. 24 Horicon River Run Invite, the annual high school cross country event held at River Bend Park in Horicon.

Meet scores for the boys teams were Campbellsport (31 points), Horicon (64 pts.), Lomira (95 pts.), Laconia (109 pts.) and Mayville and Dodgeland (incomplete). Womens teams scored as follows: Dodgeland (38 pts.), Lomira (42 pts.), Laconia (61 pts.), Campbellsport (137 pts.) and Mayville (166 pts.)
