Mighty Marshmen Make Sectionals As Team, Zamorano Advances To State


MITCHELL BRADLEY KELLER The storybook year for the Horicon Marshmen cross country team continued over the weekend as the squad raced to a second place finish at the Albany High School Sub-sectional on Tuesday, Oct. 20.Horicon, as a result, qualified as a team for the WIAA Division 3 Sectional meet last Saturday. They finished in fourth place while Marshman Austin Zamorano logged a personal record en route to a state meet qualification.

Final girls results were first – Omro, second – Winnebago Lutheran Academy, third – Lomira, fourth – North Fondy/Oakfield, fifth – Laconia, sixth – Mayville, and St. Mary’s Springs – incomplete.
