Aug. 13, 10 a.m. Location: St. Mary’s Immaculate Conception Catholic Church (1610 Monroe St. – West Bend, WI 53095) Shelly Ruth Kircher, age 43, of Kewaskum was unexpectedly called home to be with the Lord on August 1, 2019. Shelly was born on April 9, 1976 in West Bend to Mark and Shari Kircher (Kienappel). Shelly graduated from West Bend East High School in 1994. She graduated with her Associates Degree in Early Childhood Education from Moraine Park Technical College. Shelly worked at Tuttle Creek Learning Center in Kewaskum for over 22 years. She loved spending time with her family and enjoyed attending all of their school functions, sporting events, vacations; if her children were excited and happy about it, she wanted to be a part of it. Her childrens’ smiles made her smile. Shelly also enjoyed arts and crafts; she spent hours putting together many scrapbooks of her cherished memories. Those Shelly leaves behind to cherish her memory include her four children, Cody Marx, Tristin Marx, Allyana Marx and Reegen Marx; father, Mark (Sherry) Kircher; mother, Shari (Dan) Mueller; sister, Cristie (Bob) Volkmann; step-brother, James Whitemore; and former husband, Michael Marx. She is further survived by honorary sister, Audra Beyer and family; as well as cousins, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, numerous relatives and friends. Shelly was preceded in death by her aunt, great-grandparents, and grandparents – specifically Grandma Koerble who she became especially close to. Mass of Christian Burial for Shelly will be held at 10 a.m .on Tuesday, August 13, 2019 at St. Mary’s Immaculate Conception Catholic Church (1610 Monroe St. – West Bend, WI 53095). Interment at St. Mary’s Cemetery on North Main Street - Barton. Shelly’s family will greet relatives and friends at the Church on Monday from 4 p.m. – 7 p.m. Visitation will continue at Church on Tuesday from 9 a.m. until the time of Mass. Kenneth John Stahl


Kenneth John Stahl passed away at the Sheridan VA Mountain View Living Center on July 23, 2019. Ken was born September 25, 1938, the son of the late Isidore and Eleanore (Godde) Stahl in West Bend, WI. He attended grade school in Boltonville, and high school in Kewaskum. Ken enlisted in the US Navy serving 1956-1957 on the USS Forrestal CVA-59. Following his military service, he returned to Wisconsin working for West Bend Aluminum. He married Marilyn Resee; they later divorced.

David L. Coulter

David L. Coulter


David L. Coulter, age 81 years, of Kewaskum was called home to be with the Lord on July 19, 2019 at his residence surrounded by his loving family. David was born on April 23, 1938 in the Town of Wayne to David C. and Alice Coulter (nee Wilke). He was united in marriage to Barbara Bartelt on March 18, 1967 at St. John Lutheran Church New Fane. Barbara passed away on May 27, 2004. David was a member of St. John Lutheran Church in New Fane. He retired from Weasler Engineering in 2004. David enjoyed watching the Brewers and winning at the slot machines. Those David leaves behind to cherish his memory include his five children, Connie (James Korn) Coulter, David O. Coulter, James Coulter, Todd Coulter and Trisha (Aaron) Maas; two grandchildren, Mikayla and Ezekiel Maas; one step-grandson, Logan Maas; one sister, Marion Schuster; brothers-in-law, Otto (Beverly) Bartelt and Thomas Bartelt; three sisters-in-law, Janice (Rodger) Breselow, Debra (Donald) Theisen and Jean (Robert) Robrahn. He is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. In addition to his parents and his wife, Barbara, David was preceded in death by an infant son, Craig Steven Coulter; nephew, Patrick Schuster; step-father, Jerome Schiller, parents-in-law, Otto C. and Lorinda Bartelt; and two brothers-in-law, Kenny Schuster and Maynard Bartelt. Funeral Service for David will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, July 26, 2019 at St. John Lutheran Church in New Fane (N683 County Rd S) with Pastor Mark Eckert officiating. Interment at St. John Lutheran Cemetery in New Fane. David’s family will greet relatives and friends at the Myrhum Patten Miller Kietzer Funeral Home (215 Forest Ave. – Kewaskum) on Thursday, July 25, 2019 from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Visitation will continue the next day at St. John Lutheran Church in New Fane from 1 p.m. until time of service. David’s family extends their heartfelt appreciation to the staff at Heartland Hospice for the loving care they provided. Gerald J. Guldan

Gerald J. Guldan


Gerald J. Guldan (Jerry) of Saukville and Jerry's Barber Shop passed away the morning of Wednesday, July 17, 2019 at the age of 83. Jerry was born on December 21, 1935 to Irwin and Celeste (nee Pesch) Guldan in Lomira. He was a graduate of the Kewaskum school system before pursuing barber school in Chicago. He married Joanne Metz on April 27, 1957 and together they had four girls. Jerry's life hobbies consisted of many: Sunday pontoon-ing on Long Lake, fishing for salmon in Lake Michigan, hunting, golfing, card club and, of course, his hair cutting business, Jerry's Barber Shop. Jerry is survived by his wife Joanne, his daughters Beth (Phil Sasso), Pam, Debbie (Steve Brahm) and Meg (Tom Minette), grandkids P.J. Sasso, Isaac, Sam and Eli Brahm, Tess, Jayce and Abe Minette. Jerry is further survived by nieces and nephews Ellen, Jill, Jeff, Barbara (Bo), Amos, D.G. and Michael. Jerry was preceded in death by his mother, father and brother Jerome Guldan and his nephew Rick Guldan. A Funeral Service for Jerry was held at 6 p.m. on Monday, July 22, 2019 at Eernisse Funeral Home (1600 W. Grand Ave. Port Washington, WI 53074) with Deacon Tom Surges presiding. Visitation was held at the funeral home from 3 p.m. until the time of service. Gerald will be laid to rest at St. Mathias Cemetery in New Fane, WI.
