Gerald J. Guldan


Gerald J. Guldan (Jerry) of Saukville and Jerry's Barber Shop passed away the morning of Wednesday, July 17, 2019 at the age of 83. Jerry was born on December 21, 1935 to Irwin and Celeste (nee Pesch) Guldan in Lomira. He was a graduate of the Kewaskum school system before pursuing barber school in Chicago. He married Joanne Metz on April 27, 1957 and together they had four girls. Jerry's life hobbies consisted of many: Sunday pontoon-ing on Long Lake, fishing for salmon in Lake Michigan, hunting, golfing, card club and, of course, his hair cutting business, Jerry's Barber Shop. Jerry is survived by his wife Joanne, his daughters Beth (Phil Sasso), Pam, Debbie (Steve Brahm) and Meg (Tom Minette), grandkids P.J. Sasso, Isaac, Sam and Eli Brahm, Tess, Jayce and Abe Minette. Jerry is further survived by nieces and nephews Ellen, Jill, Jeff, Barbara (Bo), Amos, D.G. and Michael. Jerry was preceded in death by his mother, father and brother Jerome Guldan and his nephew Rick Guldan. A Funeral Service for Jerry was held at 6 p.m. on Monday, July 22, 2019 at Eernisse Funeral Home (1600 W. Grand Ave. Port Washington, WI 53074) with Deacon Tom Surges presiding. Visitation was held at the funeral home from 3 p.m. until the time of service. Gerald will be laid to rest at St. Mathias Cemetery in New Fane, WI.
