Rose­mary “Rosie” Hen­ning (nee Bruck­ert), 92, of Theresa, passed away Fri­day, Sept. 6, 2024, at The Kathy Hos­pice in the town of Polk (West Bend), sur­rounded by her lov­ing fam­ily.   Rosie was born on Jan­u­ary 26th, 1932, to par­ents, Emma (nee Breuer) and Frank Bruck­ert. She was united in mar­riage to Eli L. Hen­ning on May 12th, 1951.   Rosie is sur­vived by her chil­dren, Roy (sig­nif­i­cant other, Linda) Hen­ning and Shirley (David) Arnold; daugh­ter-in-law, Mary Lou Hen­ning; sis­ter-in-law, Rita Bruck­ert; grand­chil­dren, Tim (Kim) Hen­ning, Denise (Rylan) Hen­ning-McGee, Tammy (Pat) Heesen, Bradley (Cher­ish) Hen­ning, Bill (Jes­sica) Arnold, Jen­nifer El­liott; great-grand­chil­dren, Brook­lyn, Madi­son, Oran, Aspen, and Orla, Harper, Eli, Nathan, Lily, James; and great-grand­son, Ridge. She is fur­ther sur­vived by other loved rel­a­tives and friends.    She was pre­ceded in death by her beloved hus­band of 33 years, Eli Hen­ning; par­ents, Frank and Emma Bruck­ert; chil­dren, Sherry, Ran­dall, and Royal Hen­ning; daugh­ter-in-law, Lois Hen­ning; and grand­daugh­ter, Nicole An­der­son.  She was further pre­ceded in death by her sib­lings and other rel­a­tives.   Rosie loved spend­ing time with her chil­dren, grand­chil­dren, and cats.    Carolyn May Pagel, 67, of Iron Ridge, passed away peacefully on Thursday, Sept. 5, 2024, at Aurora Medical Center in Summit.   Carolyn was born on September 18, 1957, the daughter of Leonard and Joyce (Sundstrom) Hughes in Fort Atkinson. Her family later moved to Iron Ridge, where she met her high school sweetheart and love of her life Larry Pagel. They were united in marriage on April 5, 1975.   Carolyn was a hard worker with a big heart. She always put her faith and family before herself. Carolyn was a long-time member of St Johns Ev. Lutheran Church in Browns Corner, where she served on multiple committees including ladies guild, altar guild, and attended bible study. Carolyn was a former member of the Iron Ridge First Responders. She worked at Broan-Nutone Manufacturing in Hartford for 40 years.    Carolyn enjoyed her lake view by taking paddle boat rides and tending to her beautiful flowers. She looked forward to special trips up north to the cabin with her granddaughter, Selena, or out-of-state trips with her daughter, Becky. Being a talented craft painter, she loved to share the beauty of her work by reinventing old and making it new. Carolyn always was up for a good card game.    Carolyn will be sadly missed by her husband, Larry Pagel; children, Matt (Jessica) Pagel and Rebecca Pagel of Medford; five grandchildren, Ashley, Selena, Taylor, Angelo and Carlito; and four great-grandchildren; her sister, Diana (Mark) Cypher; brothers-in-law, Dick Radschlag, Steve (Carol) Pagel; sisters-in-law, Debbie (Greg) Buhalog, Marie (Dennis) Feucht, Lori (Roger) Stange, and Valerie Pagel; special card playing friend and mother-in-law, Jewell Pagel. Carolyn is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.    Carolyn was preceded in death by her parents; her sisters, Doreen and Nicki; her father-in-law, Franklin Pagel; and nephews, Troy and Lee.   A Christian Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, Sept. 12, at 12 p.m. at St. John's Ev. Lutheran Church in Browns Corners with the Rev. Allen Behnke officiating. A visitation for Carolyn will be held on Thursday, Sept. 12 from 10 a.m. until the time of the service at noon.    Dolores Ann Roskopf, age 89, of Mayville, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, Sept. 4, 2024.   Dolores was born on June 3, 1935, in Brown Deer. She was the daughter of Nicholas and Caroline (Nett) Diderrich.   Dolores was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Mayville.   Dolores was united in marriage to Willard Roskopf on June 7, 1958, at St. Catherine’s Catholic Church in Brown Deer.      Together they worked on the farm with their six children in the Town of Hubbard.   Dolores was a devoted wife and loving mother, who enjoyed baking, knitting and quilting. During her life, she worked at New York Life Insurance Company in Milwaukee, M&I Bank and State Farm Insurance, both in Mayville.   After she retired from State Farm, Dolores enjoyed taking road trips with Willie all around the United States and playing bingo at the casinos around the state.    Dolores will be deeply missed by her husband, Willie, of 66 plus years; her children, Peter (Liz), Paul (special friend, Shawn), Andrew (Denise), John (special friend, Lori), Susan (Brad Porter), and Thomas; her grandchildren, Jeremy (Stefanie), Jena (Miguel), Levi (Sarah), Brenton (Maggie), Matt (Mallory), Justin, Emily (Chris), Adam (Natalie), Rachael, Tate, Myls (Swaysian) and Ireland (Bryson); her great-grandchildren, Riggs, Miguel Jr., Aria, Lilly, Emmett, Aidan, Boden, Finley, Quinn, Macy, Hayes and Thalia; her sisters-in-law Lois Diderrich and Mary Krumbiegel. She is further survived by other relatives and friends.   Dolores was preceded in death by her parents; her siblings and numerous other family members.   A Mass of Christian Burial for Dolores will take place on Friday, Sept. 13, at 12 p.m. at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Mayville with Rev. Fr. Ed Kornath presiding. A visitation for Dolores will be held at church from 10 a.m. until the time of the service at 12 noon.    Verda A. Margelofsky, 101, of Mayville, passed away peacefully at Crossroads Care Center in Mayville on Tuesday, Sept. 3, 2024.    Verda was born on February 7, 1923, in the Township of Theresa, the daughter of Herman and Adela (Griepentrog) Schrab.    She was united in marriage to Elmer P. Margelofsky on November 1, 1941, at Immanuel Ev. Lutheran Church (River Church).    Together with her husband Elmer, farmed in the Township of Theresa and also worked at the Hanni Cheese Factory.    Verda was hardworking and a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She was a faithful member of Immanuel Ev. Lutheran Church, and served her church on the Ladies Aid. In her spare time, she enjoyed gardening, fishing, crocheting, reading, and traveling.    Verda is survived by her children, LuAnn Tighe of Mayville, Karen (Dick) Spiering of West Bend, Merle (Lorraine) Margelofsky of Tucson, AZ, and Larry (Cindy) Margelofsky of Van Dyne; her grandchildren, Janelle (Bret) Loescher, Joann (special friend Scott Locks) Reed, Tony (Jenny) Chemer, Troy (special friend Brooke Roberts) Margelofsky, Dr. Tara (Dan) Saunders, Lara (Natalie) Disney, Brock Margelosky, and Sarah (Keegan) O’Hearn; her 15 great-grandchildren. Further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.    She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Elmer; grandsons, Joel Muche and Tyler Chemer; son-in-law, Carlie Tighe; and 13 brothers and sisters.    A funeral service for Verda took place on Monday, Sept. 9, at Immanuel Ev. Lutheran Church (River Church), in the Township of Theresa, at 2:30 p.m. with the Rev. Douglas J. Zahner officiating. A visitation was held from 1 to 2:30 p.m. at the church. Interment took place at Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery in the Township of Theresa.    Memorials may be directed to Immanuel Ev.    Daniel Joseph Wondra, 67, of Brownsville, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on Monday, Aug. 26, 2024, at St. Agnes Hospital in Fond du Lac.   Danny was born the son of Edward J. and Mary T. (Grable) Wondra on April 9, 1957, in Waupun. He graduated from Mayville High School in 1975.   Danny was united in marriage to Nona Strohbusch on November 25, 2000, at St. Andrew’s Catholic Church in LeRoy, where he also was a member.    Danny was a lifelong farmer in the Town of LeRoy and took immense pride in working his land.   When he was not farming, he enjoyed passing the time by building and collecting Case Toy Tractors. Danny looked forward to tractor pulls where he pulled for over fifty seasons. He was a seasoned trap shooter at the Mayville Gun Club and enjoyed the friends he made, and the time spent there. Danny was an avid Green Bay Packers fan.   Danny is survived by his wife, Nona; mother, Mary T. Wondra; children, Angie Meyer, Mandy (Michael) Hintz, Todd (Amy) Hintz, Nich Hintz, and Chelse (Brandon) Lindley; loving grandchildren, Matthew, Olivia, Lydia, Clay, Natalie, Brittany, Haley, Adam, Ryan, Brieanna, Luella, Teagan, and Cooper; three great-grandchildren, Case, Nautica, and Wrenley; siblings, Anne (Michael) Wondra, Dennis Wondra, Rick (Sandra) Wondra, Lee (Tami) Wondra, John Wondra, and Patrick (Gina) Wondra; brothers-in-law, Brian Edwards and George Strohbusch Jr.; sister-in-law, Tessa (Jason) Morrey; and nieces and nephews, Matt, Chad, Bryan, Nathan, Austin, and Brianna.    Sherry L Jaquet, 62, of Beaver Dam, passed away peacefully on August 22, 2024, with her family by her side after a lengthy illness.    Sherry was born in Beaver Dam on October 24, 1961, to Edward and Marlene (nee Giese) Jaquet. Sherry graduated from Beaver Dam High School in 1981 and became a cosmetologist for many years until she developed carpel tunnel. She decided to go back to technical college to earn a degree in marketing. She worked for a couple of years at various convenience stores until she took a position with the US Postal Service, where she worked for 19 years as a clerk in one of the Madison USPS locations, until her retirement in 2019.   Sherry loved to craft and created many things through her knitting, quilting, latch hook and diamond painting. Some of her crafts won awards at the Dodge County Fair.   Sherry was extremely involved in her church; she loved her church family. She was one of the original volunteers of Loaves and Fishes, a program that serves a weekly healthy hot meal to anyone who wants one. She loved working in the kitchen, something she got from her mother. She also helped to make the many banners and flags hung all around the church. She belonged to many other church groups including the quilters, the worship committee, the Thrivent Committee, Ladies Aid, and the Octoberfest rummage sale committee. Sherry also volunteered her time with Friendship International, an organization that is committed to equipping and training Christians. Much of the focus was providing humanitarian relieve to those in Liberia.    Sherry is survived by her sister, Diane (Doug) Flouro of Oshkosh; three nieces, Desiree Flouro of Sun Prairie, Danielle Flouro of Oshkosh, and Deidra Flouro of Madison; two aunts, Ruth Ulrich of Horicon and Mary Giese of Beaver Dam, as well as numerous cousins and other relatives.   She was preceded in death by her mother and father, Edward and Marlene Jaquet; twin infant sisters, Cheryl and Theresa; maternal grandparents Arnold and Helen Giese; paternal grandparents, Dorothy (Kruel) Jaquet and August Jaquet; numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.   A memorial service for Sherry will be held at First Evangelical Lutheran Church, 311 W Mackie St., Beaver Dam on September 6, 2024, at 11 a.m. Friends and family may visit at the church from 9 a.m. until the time of service.   In lieu of flowers or donations, the family requests that you give to the charity of your choice in Sherry’s name.    The Koepsell-Murray Funeral Home in Beaver Dam is serving the family. www.KoepsellFH.com
