Rohn Thomas Bishop, 63, of Waupun, passed away November 10, 2021, after a long battle with Covid.Rohn was born July 13, 1958, in Elgin, IL, the son of Lila and F. Warren Bishop. Rohn grew up with his much loved sister, Sue. He graduated from Lake Park High School, IL, in 1976.Rohn married Mimi Dowling in September 1978. They were married for 18 years and blessed with two sons, Rohn and Tom. In 1998, Rohn married Krista Lynn Dates. They met line dancing in Beaver Dam. Rohn loved to dance.He owned and operated Bishops Car Wash & Detail Center in Waupun from 1978-2021. He took great pride in serving on the Waupun City Council from 1988–1993. During his time on the council, he started the Business Improvement District (BID) and East End Development. He also started development on the business park. Rohn also served as treasurer for both the Waupun Historical Society and the Waupun Downtown Promotions. While involved with the Historical Society Rohn worked on getting the historical plaques for the historic downtown buildings. He started the annual Cemetery Walk in 2015.Rohn and Krista loved motorcycling, taking day long road trips, and exploring the rustic roads of Wisconsin. Rohn loved the Smoky Mountains where he and Krista got married. He greatly enjoyed his grandchildren, singing Christmas carols in church and making Bennett laugh while singing “Hark the Herald Angels Sing”. He adored his time with the grandkids. Rohn loved his Saturday lunches with his son Rohn and spending time with Tom detailing cars in Kewaskum.Rohn was an incredible cook and enjoyed cooking for friends and family. He was a member of the Jaycees, the Freemasons, the Waupun Area Chamber of Commerce, and the International Car Wash Association. If Rohn were still here he’d want you to know “a clean car lasts longer.”Rohn is survived by his wife, Krista (Dates) Bishop; his sons: Rohn (Jennifer) W. Bishop and Thomas (Kristy) F. Bishop; his step-son, Zachariah C. (Kandy) Lewandowski of Texas; five grandchildren: Reagan, Bennett, Bristol, Margaret, and Colette; former wife, Mimi Dowling; and his sister, Susan (Stan) Bishop Szara and their three children. He also leaves behind his beloved schnauzer, Gatling.Rohn was preceded in death by his parents, F. Warren and Lila Bishop; and a step-son, Joshua Lewandowski.Funeral services for Rohn Bishop were held Wednesday, November 17, 2021, at 10:30 a.m. and Edgewood Community Church in Waupun with Pastor Adam Baker officiating. Karla A. Schulz (Martin), age 43 years, of Kewaskum, was called home to be with the Lord on November 12, 2021, at Froedtert West Bend Hospital surrounded by her loving family.Karla was born on April 27, 1978, in Milwaukee. She was united in marriage to Chad Schulz on October 27, 2001, at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Kewaskum.Karla graduated from Kewaskum High School in 1996. She then earned her associate degree in Food Science from Moraine Park Technical College and went on to work at Gehl Foods for 20+ years. Karla was currently working at West Shore Group in Fond du Lac.Karla’s favorite place to be was at her camper hanging with friends and enjoying life.Those Karla leaves behind to cherish her memory include her husband, Chad; her mother, Anne Martin; three brothers, Chad, Nick (Danielle), and Troy; and her grandmother, Sharon Woodworth. She is further survived by nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends.Karla was preceded in death by her maternal grand father, Lee Woodworth; and maternal grandmother, Mary McElroy.A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, November 19, 2021 at 7:30 p.m. at Holy Trinity Catholic Church (331 Main Street - Kewaskum, WI) with Father Mark Jones officiating. William Koenen, 78, of Waupun, peacefully passed away on November 11, 2021, at Prairie Ridge in Waupun, with Sharon at his side. William was born December 15, 1942, in Kewaskum, WI the son of Jacob and Cora Wiesner Koenen. He graduated from Goodrich High School in Fond du Lac in 1962. He continued his education at St. Norbert College in De Pere where he received his Bachelor’s degree.On August 1, 1970, he married Sharon Lloyd at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Eden. They resided in De Pere for six years, moved to Beaver Dam, and in 2000 moved to Waupun.Playing baseball was Bill's passion, and he satisfied it when he played with the Mayville Legion team, his high school and college teams, and Rock River League teams, where he won the 1961 Batting Championship for its Northern Division, playing for Brownsville. Later he coached youth teams, and followed that by attending every one of his sons' games, and many of his grandson's games. Later, golf replaced baseball as a source of abundant challenges and fun at Old Hickory in Beaver Dam.Bill served three years in the Army, attending Officer Candidate School and spending a year in Korea. He put in another 24 years in the Army Reserves, retiring as a Lt. Colonel. While doing that, he was a manufacturing engineer at John Deere in Horicon for 27 years. He was an active member of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Waupun.William is survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Sharon; two sons: Greg (Mary) Koenen of Vienna, Virginia and Dan Koenen of St. Charles, IL.; three grandchildren: Sam, Mia, and Ben; a sister, Arlene (Robert) Gellings of Campbellsport, and many nieces, nephews and cousins.William was preceded in death by his parents and grandparents.Funeral services for William Koenen will be held Friday, November 19, 2021 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Waupun with Fr.
