Barbara A. Wolc

   Barbara A. Wolc, 82, of Mayville, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Wednesday, Oct. 4, 2023.    Barbara was born the daughter of Lawrence and Elda (Seering) Leibenow on June 3, 1941, in Beaver Dam.   She was united in marriage to Richard Frank Wolc on April 27, 1963, at St. John’s Ev. Lutheran Church in Mayville where Barbara was also a faithful, lifelong member.   Barbara was a graduate of Mayville High School. She had a love for helping people and worked at various places in Mayville including Purity Cheese, Old Fashioned Cheese, and later retired from Piggly Wiggly.   Barbara enjoyed trapshooting, bowling, snowmobiling, and taking motorcycle trips with her husband and other family members and friends. She always had a kind word for others and treasured the time she spent with her family.    Barbara will be missed by her husband, Frank; children, Tamra Wolc, Kimberly (Dr. William) Haraden, and Troy Wolc; grandchildren, Becky, Ashley, Michelle, Brandon, Jayce, and Alexana; great-grandchildren, Rylan, Aleigha, Alana, Landon, Makoto, Korbin, Xavien, Raiden, Iana, and Brielle; her siblings, Larry (Vicki) Leibenow, Karen Leibenow, Patricia Kutz, and Kenny (Malea) Leibenow. Barbara is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and dear friends.    Barbara was preceded in death by her parents; son, Scott; daughter, Lisa; son-in-law, Senator Rick Gudex; and brother, Rick.   A graveside memorial service for Barbara will take place on Saturday, Oct. 21, at 11 a.m. at St. John’s Cemetery in Mayville with Rev. Larry Dean Hartman

Larry Dean Hartman

Larry Dean Hartman
 passed peacefully on Wednesday, October 11, 2023, at the age of 77. He was born in South Dakota, the son of the late Eugene and Leola Hartman, and step-son of the late Rosemary Hartman. Larry attended Tripp High School in South Dakota, Class of 1964. He married the love of his life, Sharon A. Reiser, on June 30, 1966. Larry started his career as a mechanic in Tripp, SD, and then at West Bend Company/Regal Ware in June of 1966 and retired after 46 years in 2012. He worked as a hand polisher, Teflon & porcelain set-up person, high boom jeep driver, and then into maintenance. Larry also worked part time at Falk Gas Station and Bradley's Auto Salvage in West Bend.

 Larry's hobbies were working on cars and building Street Rods with his son, drag racing, being a pitman for Biertzer Racing for many years, and country line dancing - to please Sharon. He loved to travel; they made trips to Vegas, Jamaica, Cuba, Alaska, Panama Canal, Florida, and many other states, many bus trips, and too many car show trips to count; yearly trips back to South Dakota to visit family and friends. But most of all, he loved spending time with his grandkids and great-grandkids.

 Larry is survived by his wife, Sharon A. Hartman, of 57 years; children, Joey (Brenda) Hartman and Lori (Tim) Hewitt; grandchildren, Lisa (Nick) Johnson, Michael (friend Becca) Lueck, Jessica (Ben) Hartman, Nicole (Brandon) Yagler, and step-grandson, Bryan (Precious) Hewitt; great-grandchildren, Aubrey and Weston Johnson; siblings, Sandra (the late Reno) Stoebner, Glenn (Marilyn) Hartman; step-siblings, Pam (Joel) Vetter, Deb (Gerry) Welch, and Jeff (Carol) Breitkreutz. He is further survived by siblings-in-law, Rita (Jerome) Hoff, Carla (John) Pederson, Douglas (Donna) Reiser, Flora (Harvey) Hanselman, and Brenda (the late Rodney) Anderson; other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, and parents-in-law, Marvin (Elva) Reiser.

 A visitation will be held on Friday, October 20, 2023, from 4 p.m. until 5:45 p.m., with the Funeral Service at 6 p.m. at the Phillip Funeral Home, 1420 W. Paradise Dr., West Bend, WI. The entombment will be held on Saturday, October 21, at 11: a.m. at Washington County Memorial Park.

Brenda K. Skudlarczyk

Brenda K. Skudlarczyk, 75, of Elmore, passed away on Sunday, October 8, 2023, at Compassionate Heights in West Bend.   She was born on July 13, 1948, in Farmington, Missouri, to Aaron and Geraldine Zielieke (nee Thurman).  Brenda married Bill Skudlarczyk on October 7, 1967, at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Campbellsport.   Brenda was a devoted Elvis fan, collecting music and memorabilia on her many trips to Graceland.  She and Bill enjoyed traveling the country attending car shows and races along the way, and spending the winter months with friends in Florida. Most of all, Brenda enjoyed creating a beautiful and welcoming home for her family and friends.  Her holiday gatherings were filled with love and delicious food, all served with grace and style.  She was a beautiful, loving, kind and strong woman who will remain in the hearts of all who knew her. Brenda is survived by her husband, Bill; daughters, Jennifer (Bob) Lalko and Ree (Eric) Mies; grandchildren, Charlie and Andy Lalko and Brandon and Brenton Mies; sister, Robyn (Brian) King; brother, Jeff (Char) Zielieke; sister-in-law, Jewell Zielieke (Lou Repp); and brother-in-law, Tom (Sue) Skudlarczyk; along with many nephews, nieces, other relatives, and friends.   In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brother, Jerry Zielieke; in-laws, Eugene and Margaret Skudlarczyk; and her sisters-in-law, Virginia Treptow and Marlys Skudlarczyk. Darceal H. Jordan

Darceal H. Jordan (nee Tackes), age 86, of Kewaskum, went to be with her loved ones on October 8, 2023, at the Froedtert of West Bend. Darceal was born on April 30, 1937, in Farmington to the late Robert and Helen (nee Szumunski) Tackes. She attended Cheeseville School in Farmington. On June 17, 1967, she married Henry A. Jordan. Darceal was a member of the Wisconsin Retirees Camping Group, West Bend Company 25 Year Club, Young at Heart, and XYZ Club. She traveled to all 50 states as well as took a cruise to Honduras and Mexico. Darceal retired from the West Bend Company after 43 years of employment. She loved the Sheepshead card game, gardening, knitting, crocheting, feeding the birds and squirrels. Darceal is survived by her children, Charlene (Mike) Westphal of West Bend, Arless Jordan, Elwin Jordan of Lomira; grandchildren, Russell and Nigel Jordan, Eric (Leona) and Jenny Westphal, Patience (Anthony), Matthew and Joshua McDonald, John Wright and Hannah Jordan; three great-grandchildren, Noah and Evelyn Burghaus and Waylon Wright; sister, Darleen Rochwite of Campbellsport; brother-in-law, Paul Jordan of Granton; sisters-in-law, Christa Tackes of Pueblo West, CO, Katherine Waterhouse of Lincoln, NE, Joyce Jordan of TX, Nancy Jordan; and many other relatives and friends. Darceal is preceded in death by her husband, Henry; daughter, Bernadine; and son, Dale; her parents; parents-in-law, Frederick (Catherine) Jordan; sisters, Gladys (Herbert) Rummel, Joyce Tackes, Virginia (Phillip) Schneider, Adeline (William) Flasch; brothers-in-law, Stewart Rochwite, Frederick Jordan, August Jordan; sisters-in-law, Bertha Tackes, Gladys Tackes and Joyce Jordan; son-in-law, Low Walters; many other relatives and friends. Karen M. Ondrejka

   Karen M. Ondrejka, 84, of Mayville, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, Oct. 10, 2023, at Prairie Ridge Assisted Living in Waupun.    Karen was born on December 15, 1938, to Ruben and Adeline (Riley) Kohli.   She was a Mayville High School graduate and lifelong member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Mayville.   Karen was united in marriage to George Ondrejka on October 17, 1959, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church.   Karen worked for many years in the office at MEC and later retired from there.    Many wonderful family memories were made spending time together at their lake home on Beaver Dam Lake. There they enjoyed fishing, playing cribbage, and just relaxing and being together. Karen could often be found passing time listening to music, such as polkas, or reading. Most of all she loved doing word search books. Karen could work on these for hours and hours.    Karen is survived by her children, Brian Ondrejka (special friend Belinda) and Lisa (Brian) Schultz; grandchildren, Brent (Brittany) Schultz and Kyle Schultz (special friend Brandie); three great-grandchildren, Parker, Tyson, and Kylie Schultz; and two sisters-in-law, Alice Boerst and Mary Ondrejka. Karen will be further missed by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.   Karen was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, George; her brother, Norman (Lucy) Kohli; and her mother and father-in-law.    In honoring Karen’s wishes, a private family burial will take place.    The family would like to thank the staff at Prairie Ridge Assisted Living in Waupun, as well as Generations Hospice. Delores Elsie Mielke

Delores Elsie Mielke, 89, formerly of Dundee, passed away peacefully at the Highland Lake Center in Lakeland, FL on Saturday, October 7, 2023. She was born on February 1, 1934, in Fond du Lac, the daughter of Carl and Elsie (nee Paulin) Siedschlag. Delores was united in marriage to Walner “Mike” Mielke on July 16, 1955, at Trinity Lutheran Church in Dundee where she is still a member. Mike preceded her in death on April 12, 1991. Delores was a Sunday School Teacher for 15 years and sang in the choir. She belonged to the Ladies Aid, holding all the different officer positions. Delores was a waitress for over 50 years, and she threw horseshoes for over 16 years. She belonged to card clubs, loved rummage sales, and enjoyed playing games on the computer. Delores adored her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Delores is survived by her two sons, Roger (Teresa) Mielke and Ralph (Sherry) Mielke; grandchildren, Sherry (Mike) Braswell, Sarah Bobbitt, Nick (Laura) Mielke, Tyler (Kim) Mielke, Kelly (Jeremy) Hall, and Michelle (Devin) Denton; 22 great-grandchildren, extended grandchildren and family, Cody, Shane and Kevin Backhaus and families, Roy and Brenda Lee Grohall, and Joanne and Jeff Phyall; nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. Along with her husband, Mike, Delores was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Ruthann Grohall; and brother, Carl (Evelyn) Siedschlag, Jr. Visitation will be Saturday, October 14, from 11 a.m. until time of service at Trinity Lutheran Church, Dundee (W494 Elm St., Campbellsport, WI 53010). A funeral service will be Saturday, October 14, at 1 p.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church with Pastor Bobby Oberg officiating. Burial will follow in Trinity Lutheran Cemetery.    Anita Marie Froem­ming, 93, of Hori­con, passed away on Sun­day, Oct. 8, 2023, at Hill­side Manor in Beaver Dam.    Anita was born the daugh­ter of Her­man and Regina (Beisbier) Ruh­land on June 22, 1930, in the Town of LeRoy.   She was united in mar­riage to Roland Froem­ming at St. An­drew’s Catholic Church in LeRoy on De­cem­ber 30, 1950.   Anita was a faith­ful mem­ber of Sa­cred Heart Parish in Hori­con.   Anita was very nur­tur­ing and kind by na­ture and was known as the neigh­bor­hood grandma. She en­joyed cook­ing and bak­ing de­li­cious treats for her fam­ily and friends. The fam­ily al­ways gath­ered at her house for the hol­i­days.    Anita will be re­mem­bered by her chil­dren, Mar­lene (David) Lentz of Juneau, Rev. David (Kathy) Froem­ming of Lan­caster, and Jan­ice (Dan) Roethle of Hori­con; her grand­chil­dren, Caitlin (Brad) En­gel­mann, Brian (Na­talie) Froem­ming, Teresa (Chris) Sawyer; five great-grand­chil­dren, Alex, Zach­ery, Luca, Em­mett, and Howard; her sis­ter, LaV­er­nia Ruh­land of Juneau; and good friend, Jan­ice Smith. Anita is fur­ther sur­vived by her nieces, nephews, other rel­a­tives, and friends.    Anita was pre­ceded in death by her par­ents; her hus­band, Roland; a brother, Mar­vin; and her sis­ter, Do­lores.    A Mass of Chris­t­ian Bur­ial for Anita will be held on Mon­day, Oct. 16, at 11 a.m. at Sa­cred Heart Parish in Hori­con with Rev. Florence C. “Flo” Glamann

  Florence C. “Flo” Glamann (Mueller), 98, of Mayville was called home to be with the Lord on October 1, 2023, at Crossroads Care Center in Mayville surrounded by her loving family.   Flo was born on October 4, 1924, in Iron Ridge to Herman and Elsie Mueller (Wolters).   On March 21, 1942, she was united in marriage to Vernon C. Glamann at St. Matthew's Lutheran Church in Iron Ridge.   Flo retired from Tab Products in Mayville.   She enjoyed baking and sharing her treats with everyone. Flo was an avid Sheepshead player and spent many evenings at card parties with friends. Most of all, she loved spending time with family.    Those Flo leaves behind to cherish her memory include her daughter, Sharon Wild of Mayville; daughter-in-law, Suzanne Glamann of Lake Wales, FL; three grandchildren, Tricia Wild of Mayville, John (Kathie) Wild of Mayville, and Faith Glamann of Lake Wales, FL; two great-grandchildren, Landen Wild and Abby Glamann; and brother-in-law, Marvin Glamann of West Bend. Mildred E. Klein

Mildred E. “Millie” Klein, 87, of the Town of Wayne, passed away on October 6, 2023, at Kettle Moraine Gardens in Kewaskum. Millie was born on October 19, 1935, on the family farm in the Town of Wayne, the daughter of the late Wilmer and Nettie (nee Sauder) Faber. She was married to Harvey Klein on August 2, 1952, at their hometown church, Salem United Church of Christ in Wayne, where she was a member of the Women’s Guild. She went to Kewaskum High School and worked at Schultz Brothers Five and Dime in West Bend, Amity Leather for 25 years as a paster and later as a gold stamper, retiring in 1989. Millie enjoyed crafts, her flowers, traveling, and reading. Those Millie leaves behind to cherish her memory include her husband, Harvey; two children, James (Jerri) Klein and Cindy Schickert; three grandchildren, Jeremiah Klein, Jacob Klein, and Michael Schickert; seven great-grandchildren; two sisters-in-law, Gloria Faber and Phyllis Faber; a brother-in-law, Donald Klein; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. In addition to her parents, Millie was preceded in death by a son-in-law, Allen Schickert; a granddaughter, Jennifer Schickert; her siblings, Rosemary (Ralph) Giese, Wayne Faber, and Eugene Faber; her parents-in-law, Melvin and Lenora Klein; a sister-in-law, Eileen Klein and a nephew, Russel Faber.
