Leo M. Kollmansberger, 90, of Mayville passed away peacefully on Friday, July 19, 2019 surrounded by loved ones. Leo was born the son of Michael and Lillian (Sterr) Kollmansberger on March 21, 1929, in Farmersville. He was married to Elaine Schaumberg on July 15, 1950, at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Mayville. Leo was employed with Mayville Metal for nearly 50 years until his retirement. Leo was an active member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Mayville. He was also a member of the Mayville Fire Department for 25 years. Leo loved sports, especially hockey and cheering on the Brewers and Packers. He enjoyed coaching his children's baseball teams, as well as attending all Mayville sporting events. Leo also really loved being on his family's farm, caring for his goats and horses. Leo is survived by his wife, Elaine of Mayville; his sister, Maxine Franke of Farmersville; his children, Patricia Walker of Vernon Hills, IL, Randy (Sharon) Kollmansberger of Mexico, MO, Scott (Dawn) Kollmansberger of Mayville, and Mark (fiancée Amy Anibas) Kollmansberger of Waupun; six grandchildren, Brian Walker, Jen (fiancé Doug) Walker, Sarah (Seth) Hartsell, Ashley Kollmansberger, Rachel (Cody) Westimayer, and Tonya (Junior Schultz) Kollmansberger; great-grandchildren, MaKayla Albach, Aspen and Dakota Westimayer; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Thirza Ann Kuhlman, 78, of Horicon, passed away July 18, 2019, at Clearview in Juneau. She was born December, 10 1940, in Fox Lake, the daughter of Jess and Mary Alice (Ross) Tillema. Thirza graduated from Juneau High School in 1959 and married her high-school sweetheart, Roy, on July 2, 1960. Thirza and Roy moved their family to Horicon in 1965, when they bought a farm east of town. Thirza and Roy worked together on the farm until their retirement in the early 2000s, when their son Mark took over the operation. Thirza spent the years since doing the things she loved: traveling with Roy, spending time with family, and watching old movies and murder mysteries. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandson. Thirza is survived by her five children, Sandra Kuhlman, Laura (Bryan) Schmude, Linda Kuhlman, Mark (Stephanie) and their sons Merrick and Cody, Amy Kuhlman; also, her two grandchildren, Zackery (Dana) Schmude and Stephanie Schmude, plus one great-grandson Mason; her siblings, George (Jan) Tillema, Faye (Kris) Hampton and Jean (Ron) Mueller; sisters-in-law, Carol Tillema, Dorothy Kuhlman, and Carol (Ken) Graves; and many relatives and friends. Elizabeth Jeanette Quandt began her new journey on Monday, July 15, 2019, surrounded by loved ones. She was born to David and Christine (Mack) Quandt on October 6,1987 at Hartford Memorial Hospital. In her short life, she accomplished many things. Always a brilliant student, she graduated as valedictorian from Lomira High School in 2006. She then went on to UW Green Bay, UW Fond du Lac, and UW Oshkosh, completing her four-year degree in math with high honors, always on the dean's list. After graduating, she worked numerous jobs as a tutor and librarian. Her many passions included math and music-she played clarinet, saxophone, piano, guitar, ukulele, and started the violin. She also loved to sing. But above all, she loved her family most- especially her nieces and nephew whom she called "the lights of my life". Despite her disabilities, she still pushed herself to live life to its fullest, particularly enjoying going to concerts with her family. She is an inspiration to all that knew her. Even with her own daily struggles, she always found time to listen to others and help in anyway she could. Her strength continues to encourage us to constantly better ourselves and be kind to one another. Marguerite J. Van Hulst, 88, of Horicon passed away on Wednesday, July 17, 2019 in her home. Marguerite was born the daughter of Martin and Alice (Fleussus) Van Hulst on January 30, 1931, in Green Bay. Marguerite received her masters degree in education and dedicated her life to educating children. She taught for over 35 years in the New Holstein, Appleton, and Horicon School Districts. She was also an accomplished author of children's literature and other texts. She wrote dozens of manuscripts and her most notable children's book, titled, Stuck In The Tub was translated into several languages. As a reading specialist, she produced a guide for teaching reading skills to children. Never idle, she was also active in getting kids to participate in theater. She was generous and gave to a variety of Catholic charities over many years. She was a member of Sacred Heart Parish in Horicon. Marguerite loved her family and cherished her special relationship with her sister Kathryn. Marguerite is survived by her sister, Sister Kathryn Van Hulst, SSND. of Elm Grove, as well as many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, John Coisman, and sister, Mary Durnin. A visitation took place on Tuesday, July 23, from 9-11 a.m. at St. Francis Church. David L. Coulter

David L. Coulter, age 81 years, of Kewaskum was called home to be with the Lord on July 19, 2019 at his residence surrounded by his loving family. David was born on April 23, 1938 in the Town of Wayne to David C. and Alice Coulter (nee Wilke). He was united in marriage to Barbara Bartelt on March 18, 1967 at St. John Lutheran Church New Fane. Barbara passed away on May 27, 2004. David was a member of St. John Lutheran Church in New Fane. He retired from Weasler Engineering in 2004. David enjoyed watching the Brewers and winning at the slot machines. Those David leaves behind to cherish his memory include his five children, Connie (James Korn) Coulter, David O. Orville Ramthun, 93, of Watertown, passed away peacefully Saturday, July 13, 2019, at Oconomowoc Hospital following a brief illness. Orville Ramthun was born to Herman and Emma (Wachs) Ramthun March 24, 1926, in the family farmhouse in Eden. Orville married Lois Droz in Watertown on July 25, 1987. Orville farmed in Johnson Creek and was a proud truck driver and Teamsters Union member. He was a longtime driver for Schweiger Industries in Jefferson and retired from driving at Carnation in Oconomowoc. Orville is survived by his five children, Sandra (Richard) Wright, Huntertown, IN; Gary (Dedra) Ramthun, Johnson Creek; Dan (Karen) Ramthun, Watertown; David (Peggy) Ramthun, Palmyra, MO; and Terry Pender, Houston, TX; 13 grandchildren, and 13 great-grandchildren. He was proceeded in death by his wife Lois, his parents, son Larry, granddaughter Jasmine and brother Norbert Ramthun. He was born January 1, 1953, in Milwaukee, the son of Jacob and Viola (Perkins) Lawrenz. He attended Kewaskum High School and had worked at the Kohler Company foundry for 20 years. He also spent many years building agricultural silos. Jeff enjoyed fixing old cars and helping friends and neighbors with various projects. He especially enjoyed hunting, fishing and spending time on his land in Wausaukee. A memorial fund has been established in his name.

Gerald J. Guldan

Gerald J. Guldan (Jerry) of Saukville and Jerry's Barber Shop passed away the morning of Wednesday, July 17, 2019 at the age of 83. Jerry was born on December 21, 1935 to Irwin and Celeste (nee Pesch) Guldan in Lomira. He was a graduate of the Kewaskum school system before pursuing barber school in Chicago. He married Joanne Metz on April 27, 1957 and together they had four girls. Jerry's life hobbies consisted of many: Sunday pontoon-ing on Long Lake, fishing for salmon in Lake Michigan, hunting, golfing, card club and, of course, his hair cutting business, Jerry's Barber Shop. Jerry is survived by his wife Joanne, his daughters Beth (Phil Sasso), Pam, Debbie (Steve Brahm) and Meg (Tom Minette), grandkids P.J. Sasso, Isaac, Sam and Eli Brahm, Tess, Jayce and Abe Minette. Jerry is further survived by nieces and nephews Ellen, Jill, Jeff, Barbara (Bo), Amos, D.G. and Michael. Jerry was preceded in death by his mother, father and brother Jerome Guldan and his nephew Rick Guldan. Jerry's life hobbies consisted of many: Sunday pontoon-ing on Long Lake, fishing for salmon in Lake Michigan, hunting, golfing, card club and, of course, his hair cutting business, Jerry's Barber Shop. Jerry is survived by his wife Joanne, his daughters Beth (Phil Sasso), Pam, Debbie (Steve Brahm) and Meg (Tom Minette), grandkids P.J. Sasso, Isaac, Sam and Eli Brahm, Tess, Jayce and Abe Minette. Jerry is further survived by nieces and nephews Ellen, Jill, Jeff, Barbara (Bo), Amos, D.G. and Michael. Jerry was preceded in death by his mother, father and brother Jerome Guldan and his nephew Rick Guldan. A Funeral Service for Jerry was held at 6 p.m. on Monday, July 22, 2019 at Eernisse Funeral Home (1600 W. Grand Ave. Port Washington, WI 53074) with Deacon Tom Surges presiding. Visitation was held at the funeral home from 3 p.m. until the time of service. Gerald will be laid to rest at St. Mathias Cemetery in New Fane, WI.
