Pearl E. Dobbratz, 76, of rural Campbellsport went to her heavenly home on Sunday, September 18, 2022, at St. Agnes Hospital in Fond du Lac. She was born in Hustisford on April 6, 1946, the daughter of Walter and Leona (Budwitz) Fredrick. Pearl was a hard worker all her life until she finally retired at 68. She enjoyed snowmobiling, watching crime shows, playing Sheepshead and word search. She loved the Packers and Brewers and spending time with her family.Survivors include her daughters, Dawn (fiancé Mark Benzing) Wahl, Christine (Jon) Hagen, and Valerie (Bob) Plate; grandchildren, Nikki (Don) Lewis, Shawn Stutzman, Michael (Liz) Stutzman, Erica (fiancé Matt Flom) Hagen, Timothy (Julia) Hagen, Mary Hagen, Eli Hagen, Cristalynn Paswaters, Mistie (Jason) Suhr, Noel Paswaters, Heather (Corey) Danker, Lynn Preo and Amanda (Kyle) Bocik; and 19 great-grandchildren; siblings, David Fredrick, Dennis (Karen) Fredrick, Joyce (Everett) Zwieg, and Carol Johnson; other relatives and friends.Pearl was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Kimberly Paswaters; great-grandchild, Einar Hagen; siblings Arnold, Wally, Sharon, Lila, and Harley; and sister-in-law, Ruth Fredrick.The family extends a special thank you to her granddaughter, Nikki, and St. Agnes Hospital ICU nurses, Mike and Matt, for their above and beyond compassion and care.Visitation will be Saturday, October 1, from 12 to 2 p.m. at the Twohig Funeral Home, 109 W. Kenneth J. Enright


Kenneth J. “Kenny” Enright, 88, of the Town of Farmington, passed away on September 24, 2022, at his home, surrounded by his family. Kenny was born on October 10, 1933, in the town of Farmington, the son of the late William and Leona (nee Pesch) Enright. Kenny proudly served his country in the U.S. Army from 1954 – 1956. Immediately following his discharge from the Army and arriving home, he was united in marriage on August 25, 1956, to Janet Allarding at Holy Angels Catholic Church in West Bend. Kenny was a lifelong dairy farmer. He was born and raised on the Enright family homestead and became a 3rd generation farmer. Farming was Kenny's passion. Kenny, along with his wife of 66 years, taught their three boys about farming. Their sons continue to operate the family farm today. Above all else, he loved his wife and family. Kenny was a retired fireman and an active member of the Boltonville Fire Department for more than 25 years.Those Kenny leaves behind to cherish his memory include his wife, Janet; three sons, Mike (Linda) Enright, Tom Enright, and Steve (Jill) Enright, all of Boltonville; six grandchildren, Corey Enright, Jason (Jen) Enright, Barb Eckes, James Landrum, Jon Enright, and Brooke Enright; 11 great-grandchildren, Abigail, Ranen, Madison, Hadley, Lauren, Eisley, Kaitlynn, Tysen, Nolan, Bryn, and Leilah; a sister, Marie Hintz; a brother, Joe (Ann) Enright; two sisters-in-law, Cordell Enright and LuAnn (John) Weber; other relatives and friends.In addition to his parents, Kenneth was preceded in death by a grandson-in-law, Jon Eckes; two brothers, Merlin (Eleanor) Enright and Gerald Enright; two sisters, Janet (Fred) Mleczek and Irene (Roger) Knoeck; a brother-in-law, Ralph Hintz; a sister-inlaw, Elaine (Roman) Ritger; two nephews, Doug Enright and Jim Weber.The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to Tammy T, Kelley, Jessi, Mickey, and the rest of the staff of Horizon Home Care & Hospice for their care of Kenny.Visitation: Kenneth’s family will greet relatives and friends at St. John of God Chapel, 1488 Highland Drive, in Kewaskum on Wednesday, October 5, from 11 a.m. until the start of the service.Memorial Mass: A memorial mass for Kenneth will be held at St. John of God Chapel on Wednesday, October 5, at noon.Burial: A graveside committal service will be held at St. John of God Cemetery on Wednesday, October 5, at 1 p.m. immediately following the funeral service.

David Alan Schmidt passed away September 16, 2022, surrounded by family that loved him dearly after a life long battle with Myotonic Dystrophy. One of three children, David was born August 18, 1971, in West Bend to the late Gerald and Diane (nee Johann) Schmidt. David graduated from West Bend West High School in 1990. While attending high school, David took pride in managing the West Bend West High School football team. He attended Marian College for Culinary Arts. He was employed for many years at Ponderosa, Applebee’s, and Charcoal Grill. David’s limitations in life never discouraged him from living his life to the fullest. To have known him is to have loved him.As favorite hobbies, David spent much of his time watching wrestling, which he loved and was very enthusiastic about, watching movies, drawing, and listening to music. David had a huge passion for all Wisconsin sports. He could always be found on game day dressed head to toe in team apparel cheering them on. He loved telling stories and joking around with those around him. David had the biggest heart when it came to his nieces and caring for others.David has blessed our lives and his spirit will live on forever in our hearts. His journey has just begun in a place of warmth and comfort where there are no struggles. Arlene F. (Koenen) Gellings passed away on Wednesday, September 21, 2022, at the Hospice Home of Hope in Fond du Lac with her family by her side. She was born December 29, 1949, in Kewaskum, the daughter of Jacob “Jim” and Cora (Wiesner) Koenen. She graduated from Goodrich High School, Fond du Lac, in 1968.Upon graduating, she worked at Michels Pipeline in Brownsville before marrying the love of her life, Robert Gellings, on May 16, 1970, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Lomira. They moved to Campbellsport and, after having her sons, Kyle and Aaron, she went to work at Regal Ware, then St. Joseph's Convent and Agnesian Healthcare (Campbellsport) where she retired from after 34 years.Arlene enjoyed spending time with her family at their home outside of Campbellsport. She enjoyed playing games on her tablet and reading. She helped Bob with his garden, harvesting vegetables, but not planting. Bob and Arlene traveled a lot; they traveled to Europe and the UK, did bus trips to many states and Canada. They took their sons and their wives to Hawaii for their 50th wedding anniversary.Arlene is survived by her husband, Robert; sons, Kyle (Mindy) Gellings and Aaron (Dana) Gellings; four grandsons, Hunter (Meronicca) Gellings, Mason Gellings, Nick Gellings and Andrew Hahn; sisters-in-law, Sharon Koenen, Louise Feucht, Jackie (Steve) Schrauth and Sharon (Scott) Wondra; brothers-inlaw, Wally (Patty) Gellings and Roger Gellings; nephews, Greg (Mary) Koenen and Dan Koenen; other nieces and nephews, relatives and friends.She was preceded in death by her parents, Jim and Cora Koenen; her brother, Bill Koenen; and her inlaws, Edwin and Viola Gellings.Visitation was held Tuesday, September 27, from 1 to 4 p.m. at St. Matthew’s Catholic Church, 406 E. Richard W. Westerman


Richard W. Westerman, 90, of West Bend went to his heavenly home on Monday, September 12, 2022 at Kathy Hospice, West Bend. He was born on the family farm near St. Bridget’s Church on October 9, 1931, the son of Walter and Helen (Batzler) Westerman. Rich served in the U.S. Army from 1952-1954. On July 7, 1956, he married Angeline S. Fell at St. Martin’s Church in Ashford. Rich worked for a number of different farmers in the area and then started working at the West Bend Company, which lasted for 40 years until retirement.Rich was a member of the West Bend American Legion Post # 36, the Moose Lodge and The West Bend Knights of Columbus where he worked part-time at the Columbian. Rich and Angie attended Packers games since 1980 and went to the 1998 Super Bowl in San Diego, and he enjoyed the Brewers when they won. Rich also enjoyed bowling and going on trips, and he had a great sense of humor. He took care of the flowers at their home and loved to celebrate all events with lots of parties with family, neighbors and friends. Charles “Charlie” L. Weiland, 71, went home to his Lord Jesus on Wednesday, September 14, 2022. He left this side of heaven surrounded by his beloved wife and three children.Charlie was born in West Bend on January 6, 1951, the son of Norbert and Mildred (Wiedmeyer) Weiland. Charlie grew up on a dairy farm in the rural Campbellsport (St. Killian) area where he graduated from Campbellsport High School and attended MPTC. On Sept 16, 1972, he married his high school sweetheart, Mary Rita “Beata” Floyd, at St. Michael’s Church in Dotyville. They started their married life and raised their family in Appleton, where Charlie was an accountant at Nash Finch for 24 years. After transferring to Eagan, MN, for seven years, Charlie returned to Fond du Lac to finish his career at Summit Automotive, retiring in 2018.Charlie was a humble servant and devoted family man. He would do anything for anyone at any time. As an incredible husband, father and grandad, Char - lie was a patient teacher, gentle encourager and Beata's best friend. He was generous with his love and time and everyone who met him recognized his kind spirit. He had a deep love for working with his hands, being outdoors, laughing with his friends and family, and road tripping in a “woody” station wagon. As a “jack of all trades” Charlie was an amazing woodworker, lumberjack, dishwasher, map reader, maintenance man and number cruncher. He shared his deep and honest faith in Jesus with those around him through his giving heart, volunteering and acts of service. While we can’t fill the “Charlie sized” hole in our hearts, we can strive to follow his example of Christ-like love and service for others. Joseph R. Meyer


   Joseph R. Meyer, age 38, of Horicon, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, September 16, 2022, at Waupun Hospital in Waupun.   Joseph was born the son of George ‘Mike’ and Elaine (nee Minerva) Meyer on July 14, 1984, in Des Plaines, IL.    He was an avid fan of the Chicago Cubs, Blackhawks, and Bears. He loved to play street hockey with his father, brother, and friends. Joe was also an avid fan of WWE wrestling and attended many WWE events.   Joe loved life and lived it well. He was a person who always showed love and care to others and helped those less fortunate. He will be dearly missed.   Joe is survived by his loving parents, George and Elaine of Horicon; and his siblings, Michael (Emily) Meyer of Beaver Dam and Mary (fiancé’ Adam Lindert) Meyer of Beaver Dam. Beloved Godfather of Alaina Lindert and Elliot Selvaggio. He is further survived by other relatives and many friends.   He was preceded in death by his grandparents.   A funeral service for Joseph will take place on Monday, September 26, 2022, at 11 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Horicon with the Rev. Fr. Justin Lopina presiding. A visitation will be held on Monday, September 26, from 9-11 a.m. at the church in Horicon. Susan (Watson) Guzzetta


11/20/1954-8/27/2022   Sue unexpectedly passed away August 27, 2022, at her home in Theresa. She had MS for several decades; in recent months was also being tested for Lupus. Sue was 67 years old.   She was predeceased by her mother, Helen; her father, Eugene; younger brother, Tommy; dear friend, Waneta LeHoullier (whom she was loving caregiver to); and husband, Denis Guzzetta.   She is survived by her brother, Eugene Michael; dearest friends, Terriann Riebe Beno and Julie (Height) Lovestock.   Sue was a 1972 graduate of Nicolet high school (set records in athletics), attended the University of WI- LaCrosse until she returned home as caregiver throughout her mother’s battle with cancer. Sue was an incredible artist in multi mediums, loved gardening/created beautiful areas where she lived. She was a generous, kind neighbor, kindred spirit/friend who so appreciated kindness, thoughtfulness and respect.    Joy Finke, 75, of Hori­con, met her Lord and Sav­ior on Sep­tem­ber 17, 2022.    Joy was born in Colum­bus, to Her­bert and Leone (Schin­del) Tesch on June 30, 1947.   She was a 1965 grad­u­ate of Hori­con High School.   Joy mar­ried Roland Finke on June 12, 1965, in Hori­con, at St. Stephen Lutheran Church.    Joy was a sec­re­tary at St. Stephen Lutheran Church for many years. Joy had a strong faith and was a faith­ful ser­vant of God. She shared this with all who knew her as her faith and fam­ily was some­thing she cher­ished and was proud of.    Joy was an avid col­lec­tor of an­gels. Any­one who knew Joy would say she truly was an angel on earth. The fam­ily in­vites you to take an angel of your choice as a spe­cial re­minder of Joy upon leav­ing the ser­vice.   Joy is sur­vived by her lov­ing hus­band, Roland; sons, Richard (Amy) Finke and Bruce (Cindy) Finke; and grand­chil­dren, Alexan­der, Brett, and Madi­son Finke. Daniel See­hafer of­fi­ci­at­ing. Vis­i­ta­tion was from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. at church.
