Florence C. “Flo” Glamann
Florence C. “Flo” Glamann (Mueller), 98, of Mayville was called home to be with the Lord on October 1, 2023, at Crossroads Care Center in Mayville surrounded by her loving family.
Flo was born on October 4, 1924, in Iron Ridge to Herman and Elsie Mueller (Wolters).
On March 21, 1942, she was united in marriage to Vernon C. Glamann at St. Matthew’s Lutheran Church in Iron Ridge.
Flo retired from Tab Products in Mayville.
She enjoyed baking and sharing her treats with everyone. Flo was an avid Sheepshead player and spent many evenings at card parties with friends. Most of all, she loved spending time with family.
Those Flo leaves behind to cherish her memory include her daughter, Sharon Wild of Mayville; daughter-in-law, Suzanne Glamann of Lake Wales, FL; three grandchildren, Tricia Wild of Mayville, John (Kathie) Wild of Mayville, and Faith Glamann of Lake Wales, FL; two great-grandchildren, Landen Wild and Abby Glamann; and brother-in-law, Marvin Glamann of West Bend. Flo is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
In addition to her parents, Florence was preceded in death by her husband, Vernon Glamann; two infant daughters, Cindy and Susanne; son, Dr. John Glamann; son-in-law, Gene Wild; four siblings, Marion (Lester) Gnerlich, Roland (Joan) Mueller, Wilbert (Angie) Mueller, and Merlin Mueller; four sisters-in-law, Viola (John) James, Ruth (Ardell) Schmidt, Bernice (Elmer) Bunkoske, and Pearl (Richard) Schulz; and brothers-in-law, Don Glamann and Palmer Glamann (infant).
A Private Family Service will be held.
The family would like to thank the doctors, nurses, and staff at Crossroad Care Center in Mayville and Generations Hospice for their care and compassion.
